Jyoti is a telecoms and banking leader with more than 35 years of industry experience. Jyoti has held key positions at Standard Bank and Telkom, before assuming the position of COO of the MTN Group. She has managed complex projects and implemented innovative mobile financial services and customer experience management solutions across challenging African markets.
At MTN, she also established the business in Iran using the lean enterprise model and scaled it to 30 million subscribers within five years. Jyoti also successfully replaced the subscriber registration platform in Nigeria to drive the re-registration of 17 million subscribers within just 45 days. A problem-solver at heart, Jyoti loves to turn struggling businesses around, to help them achieve commercial success.
